This CD is good to get if you're not that deep of a Hikaru Utada fan. It has major hits(or the more successful songs, so I think) like Automatic, Hikari(Simple and Clean), Wait and See ~Risk~, COLORS, etc. DON'T get it if you really like her songs and plan to collect her albums. All this is is an outcome of her contractor's market scheme. Nontheless, it is nice to get for people like me who like to get a little of this and that.

Overall, I rated it 4 stars, because some of the wording/word choice in certain songs bother me(ex: in SAKURA drops, she all the sudden uses command form in the second verse...) But of course, if you don't know Japanese or just don't care, it's no big deal. January 25, 2008

This CD is one of the most beautiful that I've heard in a long time. Ms. Utada has a certain quality about her voice that surpasses many other singers that I've encountered thus far. My favorite songs include Automatic, Sakura Drops, and Movin' on Without You as well as Final Distance. Though this CD was full of many songs that I liked, these stand out the most. I would highly recommend this CD as well as some of her original works. January 13, 2007

Utada Hikaru is a famous singer/songwriter in Japan. Since her debut album "First Love" she has managed to stay on top of the expanding pop music scene in Japan. This collection of singles ranging from the beginning of her career to the present provide the explanation. This is a valuable asset in understanding what makes Utada Hikaru such a powerful player in Japanese music. October 30, 2006

I first learned of Utada-san through some article comparing the chorus of the Philippine rap group Dice & K9's Japanese song "Itsumo". It said that the lyrics were taken from Utada-san's "First Love", but I didn't actually get the song until a few months ago. When I heard the song, I immediately fell in love with Utada-san. When I went to a China tour, I bought EXODUS, her English album, and fell in love with three tracks. Not long after, I bought this CD and fell in love with some songs as well.

I really like "Movin' on without you", "First Love", "FINAL DISTANCE", and "Hikari". ESPECIALLY "FIRST LOVE" AND "FINAL DISTANCE". The latter is in memory of a murdered student fan, and indeed, the song is very sad, and it brings tears to my eyes. I cannot help crying while listening to it. "First Love", on the other hand, is a happier love song that is probably Utada-san's most English-invaded Japanese song.

For all J-Pop fans, this is a must for your collection!!!!!! July 24, 2006
