Singing through her nose?

I have listened to her through-out her stint on American Idol and could never figure out how she made it to the final 2? I again tried to listen to the 3 songs offered here and just can't take her voice. She sounds like she has a very bad cold. Does anyone else hear this too? March 7, 2006

I am very impressed with this single. All 3 songs are beautiful, sang flawlessly. She conveys emotion wonderfully. Such a delightful singer. September 12, 2005

Fantastic... a pleasure to hear

Since Idol the young Diana DeGarmo has been quite busy. I never hesitate to listen to this 3 song classic. Dreams --sung gorgeously and with passion.. so little to work with. Don't cry out loud defines the song with a new perfection. I Believe - aside from the corny lyrics.. contains such purity, it could inspire an elder, yet, put a baby to sleep. Just excellent..

The best AI cd that only features a few singles of all time!

Diana really did do a good job on this cd. The first single "Dreams" is without a doubt one of the best songs she has evr recorded. Of course "Don't cry out loud" was the best song on the cd. And it is probably the best song ever sung on American Idol, other than Carrie Underwood's "Angels brought me here." I also think that Diana did a much better job than Fantasia on the song "I believe." If I could give this cd 10 stars, I would.

Dreams (10/10) Truly a classic that anyone would enjoy.

Don't cry out loud (10/10) Makes you wonder why this girl was not discovered a long time ago.
