It is difficult for me to fully express why, but this movie makes my top ten movies of all time list. As for the soundtrack, well, not only does it remind me of the film, but it also has some choice cuts of music within it.

I love movie soundtracks that have artists that may other wise not get airplay. Zero 7, the Shins, and Frou Frou, even an Simon & Garfunkel song gets woven into an interesting musical experience. It pretty mellow but the story was about a guy who spent much of his teens - mid 20's in an induced depression. Great movie - great music. February 22, 2008

i fell inlove with the movie so i ordered the sound track thinking it was going to be the same. this cd is very boring and slow! January 28, 2008

rating: 5 QuoteI LOVE this CD!Quote
I heard this CD playing in one of my local neighborhood hangouts and asked what it was. Then my niece played it for me again (she had it) and said I should watch the movie, which I did, and loved it. That was enough for me--I bought the CD and have practically worn it out. It is a great get-things-done CD--I put it on when I have a lot of tasks I don't want to do, and it sort of distracts me and keeps me moving (and singing). I love every track on it, even though they are all VERY different. Great selection. October 6, 2007

I love this soundtrack, and it is probably one of the best out there. So why am I giving it one star? When I bought the soundtrack-around the time the movie came out-I got one with 19 tracks, not 13. Where are these other songs now? The missing tracks are some of the best, don't buy this version if you can find the one with more songs, it's MUCH better. September 18, 2007
