A Classic Soundtrack

I have had 3 LPs of this soundtrack, and worn them all out. The music is terrific, and it is the best album I have yet encountered for setting and maintaining a romantic mood. I can't detect any differences between this and the original version, other than the liner art.

The price is excessive, exorbitant in fact, but as in any monopoly, if you want it, you gotta cough up. If you love it as much as I do, it's still worth the price. March 10, 2008

Cest la vive

This is the original soundtrack alright but it's NOT digitally re-mastered despite the high price tag. Thought Japanese companies were meticulous about sound quality hence not checking it...cest la vive.. August 20, 2007

Bienvenu!

I play this CD in my car. I love listening to the sounds of French words. The melodies are beautiful. This is mood music from the nation that celebrates romance. The album is well worth the price. I have no regrets. August 11, 2007

An Adult Love Story

OK, it is 40 years old, but still the only real adult movie love story. Caught it in a Cinema in Tottenham Court Road, London with new girl friend in 1970. Wow. We loved it. (Sequal not so good by the way). The original has it all, friends, love , cars, kids, France, lots of silences, caring, sadness and JOY.

The real thing!

This is the REAL soundtrack from the movie, in French, just as the movie was. I've been searching for this for years, and it's just as lush, romantic and wonderful as it was all those millenia ago when I was in school! May 12, 2007
