A Lovely Singing Sheila Indeed

You always have to wonder about daytime television stars when they decide they're also a singer. Well, this one is. All in all an enjoyable array of 14 safe songs that don't challenge her vocal range so it's a little difficult to tell how good she really is. I'd love to see her perform live, she's definitely very easy on the eyes! July 23, 2008

Adult pop

This is easily described as adult pop. Nothing fast enough that you would imagine a music video w/ choreography, slower songs- understand the comparison to Celine, but this girl is younger and gives the MUSIC a much younger feel. Some of the darker songs could be comparable to Tori Amos's sound. I don't understand why we haven't heard of her here. Don't let terrible one-hit wonder natalie imbrulia influence your opinion on Aussie music. For younger listeners I suggest Lucie Silvas, who has a Christina Aguilara vocal range and, which she doesn't use yet to it's advantage. September 15, 2005

Very good singer from downunder

I think this is a very good pop cd. I like most of the songs on it . But I do have my fav.'s . I think some of the songs are very meaning full. September 4, 2005

Destined for greatness

Once in a while a classic cd will come along; one that is worthy of a place in history and in more importantly, in the place of the listeners' hearts. Mistaken Identity is one of these cds.
She has a beautiful voice, personality and has a stunning elegance and light which shines brightly whatever she does.
She is one singer in which the fans can see the person within, relate to and feel comfortable with. It is clear she cares greatly for her fans and is not out just to make money alone.
Powerful, angst-ridden, haunting and yet uplifting all at the same time, it is a turbulent journey, rocketing back and forth between the positivities and negativities of life.
Her lyrics are deep and meaningful and just about every song could be a number one hit.
Most importantly with this cd, she sings with strength and passion. It is rare to find someone who is so convincing. Need proof? Try listening to 'Nobody Listened'.
This is totally different from Innocent Eyes; and if you weren't a big fan of that, don't judge too soon, you might be surprised how much her style has changed.
She is an as of now undiscovered by the world diva with the voice power and control of those like Celine Dion who will become a household name just like she is in Australia, soon enough. Just wait and see.
This is the darker side of Delta Goodrem. Prepared to be shocked and amazed. September 2, 2005
