"Elegy" appears here in both album and single edits. It is a very powerful song and Liv shows off her range very well. It would be hard to dislike this one.
"Senses Capture" is a new track. It's amazing. I get chills listening to it when the chorus hits. It has a very ethereal feel to it, the verses build perfectly to the chorus, and you're caught, in what feels like, a siren's song. You cannot stop listening even if you wanted to.
"Winter's Poem" is a beautiful ballad about the separation of a husband and wife, as he goes to the new world. A lovely song...
Solemn Sea's demo makes its appearance on this EP. It is virtually the same as on the CD, except for a little extra silence at the beginning before Liv begins to sing in Norwegian. Still a great song.
Finally, "Mot Fjerne Land" rounds off the new tracks. Another very beautiful song sung in Norwegian accompanied by powerful drums.
As one other person stated, if you love Vinland Saga, this is going to just add to it. Definately buy this one. June 2, 2008

| Vinland Saga Continues... |
| Exellent symphonic rock |
All I can say is wow! It has a very melodic Nordic folk music feel with very well developed classical instrumentation and Liv's most beautiful voice. The songs are a bit softer than most of Vinland saga (this definately is not a metal album but more of a melodic folk rock/symphony) , and with definately some of the best classical developement not only for Leaves Eyes, but of any symphonic metal band (though I wish they would use some additional opera singers and choruses other than Liv by herself), they definately give Therion a run for their money. In other words this is probably the most classical/folkish work thus far for Leaves Eyes.
If this is your first Leaves Eye's album I would suggest just to buy Vinland Saga, because while this album is exellent there's not a whole lot of new material (the whole album together is only 25 min.), but I guess that's why the price is so low so its worth the money. February 20, 2006
