As a big James Last fan and owning many of his records and DVDs I was very disappointed with this production! Compared with his previous DVDs for example "Gentelman of Music:2001" & "A World of Music:2002" or "Live at Albert Hall" which was recorded in 1978. This "Beach Party 95" DVD is more like a travelogue of a Florida beach in Miami!! With a few beautiful tan bodies thrown in for good measure. As for the concert I believe it is mimed?? Reason being there is not a microphone to be seen on anyone or any where else for that?!there are no speakers in sight or electric cables, electric guitars with no connecting cables not even FM microphones?? All that this DVD is good for is listening to it with the vision turned off as the DTS sound is very good. As for the extras on this DVD they are a complete waste of time!!?? They are only presented in two channel stereo! not even in 5.1 as they were originally recordered and the editing is pathetic to say the least. One part that is good is the guest "Steel Band". This is not one of James Last's better videos. The scenery is gorgeous, but the singers appear to be lip-syncing. The best song was done by a Jamaican steel drum group. September 20, 2007
