Okkkkkk this is the Second time I bought this Cd! I love this One Song ON this Cd: Called Leave Me Alone. Saleena Say: You meet this Hot Guy and you know he Likes you, do nice things for you and then to Find out he not giving you that time alone with him because he really has someone Else. Why would a women want to be bothered with a Man that already has someone and being Selfish to keep you on his Side! All women can relate to that! All of her Cds are hot! I just think its time for her come out with a Banger of a Cd and Really people Know she is Hot on the Music Tip!

I love Syleena Johnson's voice and the fact that she has the tenacity to continue in this industry. It's really sad that her label doesn't know how to market her or that today's r&b audience doesn't support her as fully as others are supported.

This is another thematic album from Syleena which follows a relationship from its initial stages of attraction through its ups & downs and although a good deal of songs used samples, the samples gave the songs a familiar feeling which matched her vocals perfectly in my opinion. The only other misstep that I heard was in the track listing - having so many of the collaborative tracks follow each other ruined the album's flow.

My standout tracks are:

SLOWLY - although really explicit, I liked it

STILL OPEN - I love the lyrics & the really pretty arrangement

BULL'S EYE (SUDDENLY) - like her pairing with Common

SPECIAL OCCASION - although uncredited, the musical arrangement sounds like Deneice Williams' single, FREE but despite this, it's a nice mellow duet with R Kelly

MORE - beautiful duet with Anthony Hamilton

ANOTHER RELATIONSHIP - I like her sped up delivery on this track

Overall this is another strong offering from one of the few true new school soul singers left and I'd highly recommend it to her fans but for those who have never given Syleena a listen, try her debut cd first. August 31, 2008

Being a fan of Syleena Johnson since the very beginning I had high expectations.

After a few listens I was shocked, this isn't the Syleena Johnson i knew and loved. I've heard sellout and other terrible things but surely not Syleena? Right?

Sadly this CD sounds like any other forgettable R&B that is produced by large corporations who really don't care about music over what sells.

Her voice has grown and matured with age and sounds incredible as always and that alone is worthy of 3 stars, now all she needs is some songs that actually show off her talent instead of mask it.

Buy Chapter 2: The Voice, its an incredible CD that showcases her amazing voice and wide range.

Avoid this CD unless you are a die hard fan and can't live without it and even then you will be left wanting as I was. February 17, 2008

After two solid, if not excellent chapters, the highly underrated Syleena Johnson returns with a sexier image and a nostalgic, '70s soul-influenced sound. (I always thought her light raspy alto sounded just a little bit like Betty Wright.) Her voice is better than ever and the production here (Kanye West, Jermaine Dupri, R. Kelly, etc.) is polished and top notch. The album begins with feel-good love songs. "More" is an excellent duet with Anthony Hamilton, "Classic Love Song" is a catchy midtempo and "Bullseye (Suddenly)" is beautiful. The middle of the album is filled with more sensual tracks, but the greatest part of the album is the end, where Ms. Johnson does what she does best; she takes her painful life experiences and delivers them in song. "Another Relationship," the second single, is an emotional, scornful and dramatic testimony of a woman that is being left by her man for another woman. Ironically, just a track later, Syleena takes on the persona of "the other woman" with a guilty consience, telling the man to "Leave Her Alone." She leaves a relationship going nowhere on "Apartment for Rent." But my favorite track by far is "Only A Woman." What a way to end the album! Syleena pours her heart out on the track, sharing all the daily trials and tribulations of a woman who also has to be strong "like a man." Chapter 3 is an excellent album and I would have to agree with Ms. Johnson herself that this is her best work to date. July 30, 2007
