Awesome performance!

I first owned the album and quickly became a fan of it - it is first up in my CD rotation.

Liked it so much that I wanted a live version - I did not read close enough to realize I was ordering a DVD and was almost ready to return it. That would have definitely been a mistake. It's a great performnace, edited well and one of the best concerts I've experienced.

The bonus material is just frosting on the cake! August 26, 2008

Avoid

Do not get me wrong. I love Pete Townshend and the Who. I love his solo output but it has had some lows. Psychoderelict was not that good as a record and the live production of which I own a video is simply horrible....an embarrassement. I was ashamed to watch this stuff. July 20, 2008

Missing Songs!!!

I taped this show on VHS while watching it on Pay-Per-View.My tape over time has deteriorated.So when I saw this DVD I was very excited.When I received it I found out 2 songs "North Country Girl" and an amazing version of "Save it for Later" were missing. I realize these aren't Pete's songs,but they were a magical part of THAT show. March 30, 2008

An excellent work in a mediocre performance

Since I have owned the audio cassette of Psychoderelict for many years I was looking forward to this DVD with the extra Who songs surrounding it. The live performance sparkles with Pete Townshend brilliance even more than the original except in two instances. Unfortunately, Pete's voice shows a lot of wear and tear and his guitar work, though still excellent, is mixed at such a low volume as to be sometimes inaudible. Still, Pete Townshend on a bad day is still worth at least four stars. Don't expect a lot from the Who numbers; Pschoderelict Live is a terrific performance by a rock legend. May 22, 2007

True Genius

Pete at his best. Psychoderelict is one of those overlooked jewels that Pete Townshend produced outside his Who work. It is brilliant. This performance captures this special material. Excellent April 13, 2007
