Wjy Wait and Eyes of a Stranger are some great Reggae tunes...they remind me of when I was in Guam a few weeks ago, driving along the beach listening to those songs. February 7, 2006

The Good
P.O.D. keeps their faith and spirituality firmly in place with the EP's centerpiece "If It Wasn't for You." It's not really a track I could envision on the radio, but it's sure to please fans. The group throws in two demos from their Palm Springs recording sessions; "Teachers" and "Ya Mama." Both tracks are full of thunderous energy, and are problem some of the best sounding demos I've heard. "Why Wait?" and "Eyes of a Stranger" are both a departure in sound for P.O.D. (as far as I know). The songs have a strong reggae feel to them, but still manage to fit in with anything they've done in the past.

The Bad
I've seen P.O.D. live twice and the live versions of "Boom" and Windfire" included here do not do them justice.

The Verdict
P.O.D. gives you a little bit of the new and a whole lot of rare. For the amount of material packed on this EP, it's worth taking a listen. January 4, 2006

ok i'm 33 and Sonny is my same age. I was blown away at the awesome heaviness in the first 3 tracks! Why wait is different and sounds more ska-like, but the thing is THIS is a new sounding POD! I've never heard Sonny sound this good at ska or reggae like EVER! Eyes of a Stranger is a good cover song from a band in the 80s that wasn't very popular. I found out from a listing of songs from Testify the ONLY song on here to be found on Testify is "Teachers" I love that song! both that song and Ya Mama sound like stuff that should have been on BROWN! and yes BROWN still is THE best POD cd! "It will blow the classical music out your butt!" Well put Jack Black! I am really getting ANXIOUS for the new cd! i THINK it may be my NEW favorite, if it's as heavy as i'm hearing! the only mistake for their first video is a SOFT song! that'll turn a LOT of people OFF! But still i'm a LIFELONG POD FAN! and i think my life is just about up! ta ta! and JAH JAH WARRIORS, PEACE AND LOVE! WITHOUT JAH NOTHIN! December 7, 2005
