JD Fortune really has a great voice. It's deep, rich and sexy. I was so looking forward to this album. However I think his voice is underused. The music is louder than him making it difficult to hear him. I like a few of the songs. Devils Party is to much like the Devil Inside. Pretty Vegas I love but again the music is to loud compared to the voice. Some of the songs seem alike. I felt dissappointed but still it's good. I'm hoping for a better second album. I give it a four because his voice is so good.
July 12, 2008I was skeptical about buying the new album from INXS, only because I wasn't sure how the new singer JD was going to fill the shoes of the original singer. I was more then pleased! JD has stepped up nicely and has more then just fit in, he has added his own style to the INXS sound. This Album is a must for any fan of INXS. Being a touring drummer myself, I particularly enjoyed this solid work! The opening track is crisp and I love the horns, very nice touch! And Afterglow is just one of those tunes I can listen to over and over again! Just beautiful! Well done gentlemen! My advice....BUY THIS ALBUM, you will not be dissappointed! Eric

April 29, 2008...but not great either. "Dirty Vegas", "God's Top Ten" and "Afterglow" are all standouts. The rest of the cd is just o.k. to somewhat stale. Worth a few bucks just for the three best tunes. Would enjoy seeing them live with the new lead singer, he's great!

This was so good, frankly I was shocked to death. Never was into IXES until I watched the stupid show. After the show ended I said, what the --- I'll get it and man I was surprised--- Totally.
