Live trio performances with Milt Buckner and Alan Dawson at Lennie's On The Turnpike, in West Peabody, Massachusetts. Warm and fat sound, great for the ballads, and strong like a hurricane, blues and funky when he needs to roar. Actually, he had everything. This edition also includes all five of the alternate takes from the aforementioned Illinois Jacquet And His Orchestra sessions, included here due to a lack of disc space on the collection's second CD.
