This CD is nothing short of awesome. These guys, as musicians, are outstanding, and their praise and worship of God is inspiring. This CD is well worth the money; none of the tracks are disappointing! March 10, 2008

The hardest thing for an artist to do is release a greatest hits album. Do you pick fan-favorites? Most successful or popular? Best lyrics? Best music? Band's favorite? Nobody will end up totally happy. With this album, I think the band left out most of the fan-favorites. Where's the "Houseplant Song?" How about their magnificent cover of "Free Ride?" Don't tell me they left out "Clap Your Hands?"

Most are great selections for the band. But some of the new songs leave something to be desired. "Goodbye" is your standard goodbye song, maybe a little cliched, but hey, it's a goodbye song. And I thought "Blaze Of Glory" was a cover of the Bon Jovi song, where it came from I don't know, it's a cover of some other group I know. Weird addition. And for those of you who got the special edition, "Down In The Lowlands" is an excellent song. Mark Stuart is spotlighted on this song, and boy does he shine.

Overall, get the special edition if you're going to get the album. If you have the rest of Audio A's albums, download "Down In The Lowlands." It's a must have for any fan. Thanks Audio A, you'll be missed.

I don't care much what first name music has: Alt, Folk, Acid, Pop, Country, Gospel, so long as its last name is "Rock". To me it's all to the good when bands like AA, which started pop move more and more rock, albeit of various kinds. I was attracted to this CD after hearing two songs on, believe it or not, the radio: Leaving 99, and Get Down. While I hoped for more of the same, I must say I was absolutely won over by the latest Jay Joyce produced numbers. Not to mention the John Hampton produced Chevette. Arguably, some bits suggest Eminem, U2 or Switchfoot, and I don't mean the writing or delivery, but the production style. My big gripe with ccm from its inception is forcing bands like AA into production styles of then- current acts. Mike Knott, as many know, parodied this as "Nash- Vegas production, and it is this blinkered view of producing, not any lack of talent, drive or creativity on their part, that locks so many acts in a copy-cat format under the oft- derided rubric of ccm.

That said, were I to hear some of these songs in the middle of alt radio, I would perk up as I do when I hear U2; in the absolutely tired overdone top ten alternative in name only format that passes as "alternative" things are done to death and freighted with innuendo. I long ago switched from radio to CDs in the car, and wear out discs like Leeland, Larry Norman and this one when I rarely come upon them. One thing great is that AA lists all the members as the songwriters. This is significant because the writer gets a bigger cut of the song royalties, and infighting often causes bands to break up.

Everything about Adios tells me that this would be a great band in concert (or was during the last fifteen years). Everywhere I hear echoes of my favorite bands, and there's even a cover of "Blaze of Glory" by the Welsh band, The Alarm, one of two songs new to this collection, and one of two lyrics printed in the booklet. The other is another rocker, Goodbye. As with the O.C. Supertones, AA has gone out with a bang (the farewell from Hawaii concert has almost the same song list as this disc). But with talent, creativity and an attitude as great as this, I'm sure we'll hear from them again, together or solo, here, there, or on the air. September 4, 2007

This album is actually pretty good. It's just it didn't include that many hits!Sure, all the songs on here are hits, but it really doesn't do Audio Adrenaline much justice. It barely featured songs from the debut-some kind of zombie period. It should have been 2 disks with debut-underdog on one and Lift-Until my heart caves in on the other. If I had been in charge of the making of this album it would have looked like this.
