Lily Allen - Alright, Still

Amazing, fresh and lively

I don't know what it is about her she is bizarre, a mix between Macy Gray and Regina Spektor with a little bit or Tori Amos spunk and even with the slightly spice girl hint of attitude replication, lily is amazing. She isn't as fake as everything else out there and she is adorable which makes you want to squeeze her cheeks and say it's alright love. The tunes are just catchy. May 18, 2008

Wow

This is absolutely the most catchy, well produced album out there. Way outside my normal interests (Dungen, Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev, Blur) but I can't seem to get the songs out of my head! Guilty Pleasure!

It's not often I feel compelled enough to write my thoughts on a cd, but this chick Lily Allen deserves a few minutes of my time. I can't praise this cd enough. It's completey out of my diverse collection of genre....but after a few hundred listens to this cd (literally), it really hits every genre of my interest, coming to realize that this beauty is in a genre of her own. I do hope she continues on a successful path, if her follow up is even HALF as good as her first disc, I will love it just the same. Cheers to new talent, and to one who knows how to present good music. No fillers AT all on this cd, every song is infectious and addictive. Buy this cd, you will have no regrets.
