Well, since other scholars/reviewers have already re-written Waylon's history, instead of reviewing the CD set, I will just say, this is the best total collection of his work I've run across. I would have given it a Five, except there are still some fine old songs missing, yet some songs were included on this set that never made the top 100. Like a few with Jessie. Now, don't go getting mad, she stuck by her man through a lot, and the duets are a necessary part of his history, but for those of you who don't care for Jessi Coulter's voice or unique styling, you may want to program her offerings out of your play list. Some old-timers have commented to me that while love may be blind, it can also be tone-deaf. There's plenty in the collection, for EVERYbody, regardless of your preferred era. Enjoy!!!
