7 Days (Intro) - We first start out with the beautiful intro "7 Days" which is about how the Lord has made the world and all of its beauty in 7 Days. It is basically a praise for what the Lord has done.

7 Days - Once you we see just how beautiful of a world the Lord has made we have to thank him and praise him 7 days of the week. We just can't comprehend how he gave us soo much beauty and placed us here to enjoy it. This is just a thank you song to the Lord.

Count Your Blessings - We have to sit back and count all the blessings that the Lord has bestowed upon us. Even if there were infinity tongues it still wouldn't be enough to thank him for what he has given us. Such beauty and such paradise.

(The Fall)

Don't Go - The Lord said not to eat the apple and don't disobey his laws and commands, but that advice wasn't taken heed to. So now paradise and all the beauty that was around us has turned into hardship. It was the Lord that told us don't go, but we went anyway.

Heavenly Father - We are crying out to the Lord, please take us back. Just give us another chance Lord. We are here with a broken spirit willing to change out ways. We tried to do things on our own and we failed. Now we just want God to draw us closer to him and his spirit.

I'm The One - The Lord has had mercy on us and taken us back. He tells us that he's the one that we have been searching for all the others things were just distractions. He is the only thing which counts or matters. Thank you for taking us back.

Heaven Knows - Even Though the Lord has taken us back there is still many out there that are lost because of the sin of our forefathers. Don't think that heaven doesn't know what is going on because heaven does. And heaven will take care of those that are lost and are going the wrong way. And that of course mean only one thing...JESUS!!

(Accepted)

So Good To Be In Love - Thank you Lord, Thank You Lord, Thank You Lord. It is sooooo good to be back in your presence again. We missed you so much. Now we know what life is about and it is all about you and your will. Thank you Lord for taking us back.

Clap Your Hands - We just have to shout and clap out hands for the Lords mercy in taking us back in even though we do not deserve it. It just feels sooo good to be in his presence we just have to dance, and clap our hands.

(Memory)

Through it All - After being taken back into the Lords glory and presence we just sit back and have a moment of clarity. Even after all we've done the Lord was always there. No matter what, he stuck by us through it all and never left our side. Thank you Lord, for not giving up on us. Thank you.

Help Somebody - Lord, I love you so much. For all the goodness and mercy you have bestowed upon me, Lord, I will help as much people as I can. All I pray is that you help me to help somebody the way you helped me. Help me to show the mercy, grace, love, and generosity to somebody who does not know it.

Inspiration - Lord you are my inspiration. Lord, you have showed love to me like I've never seen love before. I wan't to be just like you. There is no other like you, I just adore you Lord. You are just amazing. It's like flying through infinity to thank you for all the goodness that you have given us. Thank you Lord.

7 Days Outro - Lord, you have given us 7 Days and we will appreciate you for it all. For with out it and your mercy we would be lost. By the grace of God we are saved. Thank you Lord.

Dettrick Can Sing Anything

Wow I have had this project for a while, but everytime I listen its a great experience. Dettrick is blessed to have such a strong and annointed voice that ministers the message of God thru music. Anything he sings is caputuring. I enjoy all of the songs on this album 7 days, Heavenly Father. I am waiting for a live concert,not 20 minute performance in the South Carolina area. Do you really want to sing Gospel?

I have all of Deitrick Haddon's CD's and honestly the one I like the most is Lost and Found. I'm not an old school traditional gospel loving person. I like contemporary, traditional and all that. I dont' pigeon hold gospel artists to a specific genre because God can and will be praised through whatever sound is sweet to him, HOWEVER with this CD I just felt like Deitrick really wanted to be an R&B singer. There comes a point where enough is enough and I didn't feel any anointing in this and nothing moved me about it. I like Deitrick as an artist but this CD just wasn't it for me. November 29, 2007

I guess....

I found this album to be a bit pretentious. Most of it is overly secular and a touch obvious. The artist seems too involved with himself from the cover to the tracks. Heaven Knows,on the other hand, is a strong seletion which speaks to the moral compass in everyone saint or sinner. I actually bought this cd because of it, unfortunately I was sorely disappointed in the lack of originality or depth of spirituality in the music. When you can't feel it ...why bother.
