It's too bad steve perry isn't with Journey anymore, because with him he rocked, this album is so so!
June 22, 2008You might like the album...but that's it. He isn't making anymore music so why bother. The man is easily the laziest singer on the planet.I used to resent the other members of Journey for going on without him,but at least they're out there trying. Enough already. Time to move on.There are better singers who work harder.Too many Fat cats already.

.... you'll love this CD. Every track shows Steve's fabulous vocal range and the sincerity in his voice and each track sounds like a lot of time was spent on the arrangement. When Steve was singing with Journey, they were a remarkable combination, but on this solo CD he shows that he was much more than just their lead singer. 'The Voice' shows us why he is one of the top vocalists in the rock world and why he is sorely missed these days by his thousands of fans.

All I can say is that I LOVE this CD. So many memories from the most incredibly talented vocalist I have ever heard. Do yourself a favor and buy this one....if you love Perry and Journey, you will love this music!
July 24, 2007I've always loved Steve Perry's voice and this CD has everything I wanted to hear from him and more. I'm glad that he finally got to release some of the songs that were to be included in his second solo album "Against the Wall." For every Steve Perry fan, this CD is a must have. I love it.
