I love Stacie's older albums, and this one did not disappoint me in the least bit. Although, like some of the other reviews are saying it's not the christian words I am used to hearing from her, that didn't take anything away from the music. Anyone who listened to her older music can surely listen to this album just the same. It takes you through different moods and feels. Unlike the other people I just finally found this album in the store a couple of weeks ago. I had been waiting for it but never saw it. I accidentally ran into it because it was sitting out in the wrong section. Needless to say, this album is excellent. March 12, 2008

I sincerely this is Stacie's best work. All grown up now she displays an amazing voice and a better produced album with great song like "I'm not missing you", "Is it me", "Tantrum", "Babygirl", "So simple" and many more. It's a great album and I can't get enough of it!! October 16, 2007

I purchased this CD simply because it was Stacie Orrico. I enjoyed her earlier stuff as did my kids. When this CD came out and just ordered it and I was greatly disappointed. Not only did Orrico depart from her Gospel roots, she departed from the dance music that made her. I understand that "she's all grown up" now ... but .... she truly wasted her talents on this CD. She's sounds like evbery other wannabe soul artist out there. September 13, 2007

Track 11, I Cant Give It Up, is completely hot. The rest of the album is great as well and its still Christian-oriented which I respect her for. If you get this album, get it FOR this song. *faint* April 16, 2007

When you 1st listen, it's quite pleasing to the ear. It's obvious she's writing from her heart and singing with all her might. She's an amazing singer. It's just, where's God?

There's not one song that mentions God's name. Most of the songs are revolved around boys, which just makes it sound completely secular. I have no doubt that she's a Christian, but compared to her 1st two cd's, it has no Godly lyrics. Morally correct, yes. But Godly, no.

It's more--- soul and r&b. Which I completely love! The beat's awesome, and her voice is just music to my ears.

I am a bit disappointed to find God wasn't in this album, but if you're not concerned with that, it's one of the best cds.

I'll include the listing of the songs and my rating:

1. So Simple - 8/10
2. I'm Not Missing You - 10/10
3. Dream You - 6/10
4. Easy To Luv You - 6/10
5. Save Me - 7/10
6. Take Me Away 9/10
7. Babygirl 10/10
8. Wait 9/10
9. Is It Me 8.5/10
10. Don't Ask Me To Stay 10/10
11. I Can't Give It Up 6/10
12. Beautiful Awakening 10/10

The last song is beautiful. The first time I heard it, I shook my head and skipped over it each time I listened to the cd. But then I listened to it, and it was great! It grows on you. It's beautiful.

This cd is what it's called. A Beautiful Awakening.
