G-Unit - G-Unit Radio, Pt. 2: International Ballers

Al Pacino and 50 Cent don't have much in common except deep pockets, and 50's opening claim on G-Unit Radio Vol. 2 that he's going to be "the best fucking bad guy you've seen so far" are a long way removed from Pacino's restaurant tirade in Scarface. Vol. 2 is, however, one of the best examples of a lackluster mixtape. Whoo Kid doesn't bother as much with freestyles over played-out beats in Vol. 2; he instead relies on multiple live recordings where poorly-managed sound boards prove more frustrating than enjoyable. The eerie, Castlevania melody of "Clips" and Lil' Flip's molasses flow on "Get That Money Man" are highlights of Vol. 2. Album Description
