The Blood & Chocolate soundtrack consists of Music that wasn't even heard in the Movie. Disappointing. But, this soundtrack has introduced me to some cool bands that I've never even heard of. After looking everywhere for this soundtrack and not able to find it anywhere, I decided to buy it off Itunes and give it a good listen. Now I'm hooked. The Music is addicting. I'm not sure what you would call the type of music in this soundtrack; electronic, alternative, new age, etc ... It's like an electronic rock. But, I do know that most of these songs are cover songs from the 80's such as "Terrible Lie" and "Flesh For Fantasy". But I still think if you're going to make a soundtrack, use the music that was "actually" in the movie. That's what a soundtrack "is". They shoud've made a second soundtrack or something.

I think this is an amazing soundtrack, personally the best one I have heard in awhile. All of the songs are really good, and it gives you a really good feel for the movie. It has some movie scores also and I think all of the songs in here really compliment each other. It is a really good album, and I think anyone who is a fan of the movie or music in general should buy it!

For future reference...

I've heard only bits and pieces of this soundtrack and it's not THAT bad. I've never seen the movie so maybe that's a deciding factor, but here's where my beef with this film/soundtrack begin and end:

WHY ARE YOU PUTTING MUSIC IN YOUR TRAILOR THAT ISN'T EVEN ON THE SOUNDTRACK? (from reading reviews, seems as though that's a recurring problem, songs from the movie not on here that is)

If you're like me and wanted this for the sole reason of the amazing song in the trailor for the movie, well, it's not here. Thank God I decided to check into it before buying this. As for the product itself, if you can find it really cheap go for it. The Collide song alone is worth it (though not new, only a remix of a song that was originally on their remix CD), but there are a few other songs that merit at least a listen.

Oh, and if you're wondering, the song in the trailor is Stand My Ground by Within Temptation. Including them on the soundtrack would've been a good idea just to break up a lot of the monotony. September 19, 2007

I bought this CD hoping that the songs I liked from the movie were on it. Low and behold, there aren't any songs on her that played in the movie, but in the credits.

Don't bother buying this.. it'd be cheaper to just get the songs you liked from iTunes. August 27, 2007

First off, I loved this movie! I am one of the very few who did. I loved the music in the movie as well, but this CD is missing my favorite songs from the movie: Hard-Fi's Cash Machine. The song played as Vivian took Aiden up to the roof of the private property. Some of the music clips also sounded like bits from that one Mandy Moore song. Anyway, weak CD! Good movie. I am reading the book now! August 26, 2007
