About T-Bone Walker - Good Feelin'

T-Bone Walker was one of the first musicians to play electric guitar on record, and was a major player at the dawn of the R&B era, charting with the classic "Call It Stormy Monday" in 1948 and building an enviable reputation as a master blues musician and singer over four decades until his death in 1974. Shout Records are proud to present another chance to hear the fine music in this landmark album, which features the sax of 'Soul Makossa' hit-maker Manu Dibango and the cream of local session-men, the voice and guitar-picking of T-Bone Walker having gained in maturity with the passage of years. If you dig T-bone, don't pass on this cd. The great guitarist is in fine form on this very enjoyable late 60s release. To start off, T-bone introduces himself while tickling the ivories then segues into a spirited, funky rendition of Everyday I have The Blues. This is followed by another great performance of Woman You Must Be Crazy. The rest of the album maintains an upbeat pace with plenty of funky grooves. As a bonus, the session was well recorded.
