This collection is perfect for Paula. It includes all of her hit singles. "Straight Up" without a doubt was Paula's biggest hit and it is def. on this collection. Other solid hits like, Cold Hearted,Forever Your Girl,Rush Rush,Will You Marry Me?,The Way That You Love Me,Knocked Out,The Promise Of A New Day, My Love Is For Real,and more. I am really enjoying her new song as well, "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow". She is really a talented dancer and somewhat singer.

This updated version of the American Idol judge's back catalog is a guilty pleasure that should be consumed by all. Maybe the reason I think it's so great is because Paula's music was all over the radio and pretty much set the soundtrack for my high school years. But now that I think about it, it's probably because I had a HUGE crush on Paula back in the day. Did you see the videos for "Cold Hearted Snake" and "My Love is For Real?"
Paula wasn't the greatest singer, but she knew what was hot at the time and ran with it. The music is still enjoyable as it was in the past, but probably with today's musical landscape, it is best enjoyed in small doses. After watching Paula on American Idol (and her strange behavior), plus seeing her on that Dr. Phil dating special, I think I might finally have a chance with her.

January 14, 2008I bought this CD after the term "Greatest Hits" caught my eye, because I thought all of the songs on this Paula Abdul CD were all original singles, but when I heard my favorite Paula Abdul song Knocked Out, the CD disappointed me, because Knocked Out is a remix same as the first Greatest Hits that was released in 2000. Paula needs to put out a real greatest hits CD with just original singles instead of all of this remix stuff!
January 7, 2008I found this cd to be exactly what I was looking for. I was in the mood to hear some Paula Abdul and was pleasantly surprised to hear all my favorite songs from her. If you are a Paula fan and you want to hear the perfect selection of her best songs, this is the cd for you.
