...this collection has just about all of the great early cher songs & sounds pretty wonderful too..it also has almost all of the out of print "Backstage" album as well...the honesty & the great arrangements & songs of Sonny & the better covers & contemporary songs...one wonders if there are other unreleased "gems" from that period which have not seen the light of day...why not "She's No Better Than Me?"...otherwise...get it you won't regret it July 15, 2007

I grew up listenin to Sonny&Cher in the60's, & they put out some really great sounds. I still listen to their music, & Cher does a great job solo. You will like this cd, it's full of goodies. June 27, 2007

This double cd finds a few dates for remastering the really fresh songs from Cher's first years of folk-rock pop fame. The mastering is generally very good, but one wonders why any tracks were discarded from this compilation as it comes JUST that close to being complete.
I loved listening to this whole double cd,but found myself looking for "Time" from "the sonny side of Cher"""Look at me" from "With Love" and a few others.
I was very thrilled to hear with clarity cuts from "Backstage" a long out of print lp, but once again missed some tracks such as Moody Blues cover "Go Now".
All in all a great addition to the Cher Library on cd,and Cher sounds sincere fresh and awesome on this compilation. She ranks 1st in her category. The English liner notes also are fun ,informative and engaging.(yes a booklet)
Who did the terrible lip coloring on the vintage cover. It really looks silly. Other wise a great collection.Thank Sonny Bono for his creative productions! Harold Battiste too! May 17, 2007
