I saw them perform at the CMA awards and was intrigued. So, I checked out the CD and bought it. I'm glad I did. They are truly unique. As a Bible degree graduate, I was surprised at the depth of Christianity in their lyrics (it doesn't mock faith at all but supports the grace of the gospel). It has a great country soul to the songs, but it sounds (especially the second half) very upbeat (a mix of rock and country).

Big disappointment. This album is pure country- gone are the edgy, rock-tinged, hell-raisin' songs of their first 2 albums that made them unique, and made me a fan. The above quote is from one of their songs ("Country boys don't rock and roll, you know, the record man told me so"), lamenting the industry's original rejection of their style. Looks as if they're toeing the line now, to our detriment. I won't be buying any more of their albums. October 4, 2007

One of the best CDs I've ever bought. I can listen to every song multiple times without getting bored of it.

Big and Rich continue to produce incredible left of center country/rock/rap/ballad music that nobody else is doing right now. They are a unique and fabulous vocal duo which gives them great range. The lyrics are fun and speak to so many social issues and music industry issues - music without prejudice - this is it! Teaming up with Wyclef Jean works particularly well. Buy it, as you can't get the full feel of their musical talents by only hearing them on the radio. Oh, by the way Kenny and John, will you pleeeeeeeeeeeease come play live in the San Francisco Bay Area? Having seen them once before, they're a show not to be missed. Buy this CD!!!!
