I purchased this DVD, as I enjoy watching music concerts from home. Sort of like having your own personal concert.
The quality of this DVD (music and video) was not what I had hoped. The stage setting was a mere plywood platform, and concert looked like it was held in a high school auditorium. Acoustics were awful. Most of te music featured, I didn't even recognize.
Dont' waste your money on this one...
June 18, 2008Fantastic!! This look at the now makes you want more of their past. The now performances make you reminisce their earlier live performances that include Harry Ray. I'd love to have those on DVD also. I'm estactic to have this in my library.
May 28, 2008The only thing missing is Harry Ray (RIP) Kevin Owens is good, but he isn't Harry. With that being said this DVD is worth the money I paid for it. They sing so many of my favorites it's hard to be dissapointed. Sunday, Not on the outside, Look at me I'm in love, special lady, Sex Mama, to name a few. There is also a bonus mini concert taped at a different venue. There is an interview included which was both interesting and funny. These guys haven't lost their touch. Too bad the singers of today can't sound this good.

Si realmente sos amante del soul, compralo, de lo contrario no es dinero bien gastado. Esta linea de DVD "Soul Concerts" tiene varios problemas, conciertos con pocas canciones, no muy buena acústica y por consiguiente no muy buen audio, pero lo que si tiene a favor es que está lanzando al mercado grupos de los que no había nada hasta el momento.
August 31, 2007It would be nice to have a list of songs available for each dvd sold, you do list the songs when you sell music cd's. I would like to know more about a product before I buy it,(what songs are on it,is it live etc.) It is obvious that this dvd is live but not with other dvds .Reviews are nice but they vary from person to person and really don't give you much information.
