Gackt returner yami no shuen I LOVE GACKT-SAN!!! ^ o^

I am a huge Gackt fan. I've not seen the TV drama Returner Yami no Shuen yet, but I love the song. I do not speak Japanese, but Gackt's music is wonderful, and evokes so much emotion. I have all of his albums as a solo artist, and I love them all. This song reminds me of a cross between 2 of His songs on his Crescent album. If you like Mind Forest and Birdcage, you'll love this song. The lives of Cube and Birdcage are wonderful as well. Gackt still has it.

The title track is a Japanese flute-driven rock excursion (yes, that's what I said) similar in spirit to Gackt's previous effort "Mind Forest." It's powerful and thoroughly enjoyable. The real treat on this single, though is the suprisingly warm and intimate live version of "Cube" which, in itself is worth the price of the single. August 29, 2007

And Gackt delivers once again

It's classic Gackt. Returner~Yami no Shuen~ has a flute a lot like Mind Forest in the Crescent album, but that doesn't stop it from being the kind of beautiful and dramatic song we have come to expect from Gackt. The other songs here are also wonderful. Birdcage, one of my favorite songs from Crescent album, makes it way back into everyone's heart, painting a beautiful picture without even needing to know the lyrics. His voice is just as amazing as ever, and there's no way anyone who buys this could possibly be dissapointed. July 30, 2007

Awesome

I don't like the recycled flute from mind forest, however I think the rest of this disc is awesome. It was from the dvd that came with this single that I found out I can play Japanese dvds on my dvd player at home, which made me even happier.

I based 5 stars on the skill put into all of the songs, the recycled flute didn't even make me reconsider. July 3, 2007
