I have been a fan of Paquito for over 25 years. In all this time I can not say his work has ever disappointed me. This DVD, of course, was no exception. The combination with Chano Dominguez and the equally great other musicians, superb! Paquito's stage management, amusing as always.
The DVD's great quality is enhanced with the written information on the recording. October 19, 2007

Chiqui Rodriguez "AQUI & AJAZZ" Jazz TV magazine. Been a big fan of Paquito D' Rivera since his first appearing with the famous Afro-Cuban Band IRAKERE, I was not inpressed of what could happen in this Live concert DVD. But, with the only minimum performance of Chano Dominguez on the historical Latin Jazz documentary "Calle 54" produced by the Spanish films director Fernando Trueba, I knew that something big was about to happen if I have the opportunity to watch this concert... And this is exacly what I am about to tell you: First of all the HD camera shooting is superb. Direction is amazing. The sound is a gorges Dolby Digital 5.1 surround, plus the elegant and imponent Teatro Real De Madrid will indulge you into it's maggic; dispite the fact that is not any DTS audio, you are not going to be disapointed to buy it or either rent this DVD... By the way after watched it on a rented copy I already order from Amazon. August 8, 2007
