Once again, Jill Scott has delivered! I've been to a couple live concerts and this newest DVD gives the same high quality. She takes her audience on such an vivid journey when she sings! I LOVE Jill Scott but.....

I love Jill Scott and have seen her in concert live several times but this dvd is something that was thrown together. They use this technique blocking the video into small boxes just like the cover looks. It is ok but I suggest skipping this purchase. March 10, 2008

Cutting Edge Soul!

This certainly has to be some of most cutting edge soul music of our time. With a spectacular band for support, Jill Scott belts out the finest new soul music currently available. While the picture quality on this DVD is slightly below average, the sound makes up for this shortcoming as the recording quality is reference quality sound in Dolby Digital 5.1. I was mesmerized how tight the band was playing to the gutsy singing of Jill Scott. Get this DVD at all cost. However, look for the one which includes the free CD of the DVD performance as the cost is the same if not cheaper in price. This is quite an entertaining set. February 25, 2008

A Diva, An Artist, One of the Bestt

Jill Scott is amazing! This was the first concert I'd viewed of hers and I was enthralled the entire performance! She has such a way with connecting with the audience and pulling you in and making you feel right there with her; be she singing of joy or pain or heartbreak or love, whatever! She is amazing. My only complaint with this feature is that it's too short. The songs performed are current with a few throwbacks. I'd love for her to put out a concert where she's performing even more songs and songs from her earlier LPs. What I love also about her in this one is how she highlighted her musicians and background singers and how she defined herself as an "artist" and not an "entertainer". Also, I love how she is into LIVE INSTRUMENTATION. Absolutely wonderful! Enjoy! February 23, 2008
