The first reviewer of this CD called it absolutely fabulous, and I can attest to the fact that this CD is indeed absolutely fabulous. What makes this CD so great is not only the music selections, but it features the B sides (45 records) of the greatest soul songs of 1968. Where can you find Part 2 of the song, "Tighten Up?" Only here. Many of these B side compositions have been unavailable since their initial releases. All of these compositions have been re-mastered, and I must say sound better than the original. I was a 14 years old child living in south Philly in the summer of '68 when these songs were current, and I remember hearing all of them, even the B sides on WDAS. So, to hear them again was quite nostalgic. This is a must purchase for lovers of soul music. March 12, 2008

I stumbled across this CD while searching for James Brown music and thought I'd give it a try. I'm an avid collector of R&B music and was truly blown away when I listened to it! Disc 1 contained all the top hits of 1968 and Disc 2 contained all the original B-sides. This CD is absolutely incredible! I can't wait for the next release in this series! November 19, 2007
