About Battlestar Galactica: Season 3

The original soundtrack from the knockout third season of the Sci-Fi Channel's critically acclaimed television series, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA starring Edward James Olmos, Mary McDonnell, James Callis, Tricia Helfer and Katee Sackhoff. Composer Bear McCreary's score continues his groundbreaking musical tradition, ingeniously melding orchestra, vocals, rock, world-beats and synth into an emotional, soul-stirring experience. I didn't think it was possible, but after listening to this album, I love Battlestar Galactica even more. You can sense how great the music is while watching the show, but when you isolate the soundtrack, you can see just how frakking amazing it is. I too would have like more music from Crossroads Part II, but his is still close to a perfect album. Eleven thumbs up! October 15, 2008

I won't belabor how beautiful and affecting every track on this CD is, just want to say I found a different use for this CD. Somehow it is so soothing and calming, I fall asleep when it plays. Now when I try to go to sleep on a plane or on my couch I put it on, and it works every time! October 6, 2008

I Love my CD!! I never thought that I would like music like this. But, since I heard it over and over while watching BSG, it was very familiar and I found it comforting. I listen to it both in the car and at home especially during yoga. The seller was honest about the product, it was new, still in the wrapping. I am satisfied with my purchase. July 21, 2008

This soundtrack is just great, it has a very good consistency from track to track and it has some really unique rhythems and great percusion. I just really like the mix of voice and instrument in many of the songs. July 18, 2008
