Ana Gabriel's raspy yet powerful voice has captivated latin pop fans for more than 20 years now. This new record is hardly her best but is her best she has released in the last few years. This all-pop album has a tad amateur-ish production but Ana's voice is still as potent as ever. She has also re-recorded 2 songs from previous records in more upbeat arrangements. They are "Contigo" from her 1988 record "Tierra de Nadie" and "Que Pena", which was a B-side to her 1989 single "Hice Bien Quererte".

I'm sure Ana's fans won't mind this new record. Ana is capable of releasing hearfelt work and in a body of work that has given us so many happy and sad songs that get to us..this CD full of light production seems a tad unfulfilling. Either way, Ana is still a great artist and it's just great to see that she is still true to her own art and releasing timeless productions October 7, 2007

This album is the best i've heard in years from Ana Gabriel - She is so intense with her writting and the beats are soft and a touch of Disco. Go get a Copy. October 5, 2007

Un Exito!

Arpeggios de Amor marks, Ana Gabriels 20th album release and has quickly grown to one of my favorites. She return to old style of real Love Ballads with gut wrenching lyrics. I love it and happy she finally came out with a great CD. With two songs from her old days she includes new versions of 'Contigo' from one of her very first releases to 'Que Pena' which was never included in an CD and available only as a single. It has a disco sense of style that gives it a catchy beat and i love it. October 2, 2007
