If you are a Johnny fan...you will love this cd. Being a fan since the beginning I think for recent times this is the best cd he has put out in a long time. Can listen to it over and over. September 17, 2008

You wouldn't know from listening to this album that Johnny Mathis is 72 years old. His voice sounds as rich and lush as it always has. Sure, his vibrato is a little faster than in his younger days, but his control, tone, pitch is as pristine as they were when he was in his 20's.

It's nice to hear Johnny revisit these classic songs and stamp them with his own personal touch. I enjoyed all of the songs on this album. Johnny's prodcuers have a great knack for organizing the songs on the album in such a way that it's a pleasant listening experience from beginning to end. It makes you want to listen the entire album. I've found this with many of Johnny's albums and I appreciate that the time is taken to create a mood and vibe to enhance the overall listening experience.

The guest appearances by Yolanda Adams and Kenny G are appropriate and well placed. Neither overpowers Johnny and the blend is nice.

As long as Johnny continues to record and tour, I will continue to buy his albums and go to see him when he's in my neck of the woods. He shows no signs of slowing down in his 70's and all I can say THANK GOODNESS. It's not very often that people get to be in the midst of a living legend, so I am grateful that people can still continue to get that opportunity with Johnny Mathis. If you have never been to see him live in concert, go! You will not regret it.

Excellent revivals of old-time favorite love songs. Perfect match with Johnny's style. Sonically the recording leans towards brightness, so for you critical listeners, adjust the low frequency accordingly. It won't reach the second song and your friends will ask how you discovered this album. August 17, 2008

This is absolutely fantastic. All the songs are sung as only Johnny Mathis can sing them, from the heart. The title song A Night to Remember is sung with Gladys Knight and should be playing on the radio and on the charts. Absolutely the best August 2, 2008
