I think this album has been flying under the gospel music radar, but once I heard the snippets I knew I had to get it. It does not disappoint!
May 11, 2008I am in complete agreement with the other reviewers. His previous projects were all good. But I think this particular project is his best to date. On the technical side it's production is top-notch and its been engineered well. All that aside, it's a project that you can feel from start to finish. No filler songs to take you away from the journey. And I don't think theres any way to get around mentioning the medley. Bravo! And Congratulation Lamar!
This is an excellent project, and one that is definetly worthy of a place in your collection.
February 27, 2008I love this cd! It blesses my soul every time I listen to it! The lyrics glorify God and are uplifting. The music is impeccable. Another anointed rendering from Lamar Campbell and Spirit of Praise! Anyone who hears it will be blessed by every song!

This CD simply took my breathe away. I had to have it right after I heard the samples and downloaded asap. In simple Lamar Campbell fashion, his compelling uplifting sound is exemplary. Lamar has a gift that reaches us all with this worship and praise CD. I paricularly enjoyed the medleys. He starts you out with "Evidence" which starts you on that "spiritual climb". Then while "spiritually climbing" with each song on the CD he adds the vocals of Rodney Bryant. Then on to the medleys at the pinnacle (what a climb). Lamar has done it again.
December 17, 2007Lamar Campbell and Spirit of Praise has always recorded great music, but this one is among the best! If you like contemporary gospel, worship, & praise and celebration music. This one is for you. All of the songs are great on this CD, its hard to choose which one is the best, it is inspiring, uplifting, and motivating.
