User Reviews
Average user review:i have always been a huge fan of the fugitive having taped the whole series off the t.v and the tapes are pretty worn now. so i am delighted to be able to get the series on dvd, the only downside is the fact that i have to wait because its only being released half a season at a time. but i dont care i can watch a crystal clear picture and fawn over david janssen who is very good at playing the tormented hero. if you like any of the t.v series from the 50's or 60's you will like this series, most of it is in b/w its still good and i like it in b/w. go on go out and buy it, your in for a treat if you do. Was something this good actually on TV?
Wow. Season 1, part 2 finishes off the 30 episodes that made the first season of The Fugitive. It's so good I don't even know where to begin. Keep 'em coming, that's for sure. Is it possible that something this good was on TV once upon a time? Was television actually this good once upon a time? Or was this show that rarest of rare miracles? I think so. One episode of The Fugitive is worth more than all the dreck that has been on TV for the last 20 or 30 years. It is hard to believe. Thanks, Paramount, for getting this out. This is truly the best show ever. Even more so, thanks to David Janssen and all who made this wonderful show. You will be with me always. Keep 'em coming, Paramount. Keep 'em coming. May 6, 2008
music has been changed
In the episode "Homecoming" when Kimble goes back to his room for the night after sitting outside, he turns on the radio and instead of the nice easy listening he chooses, the soundtrack has been changed and a country honky tonk song is used. I dont understand why a similar easy listening song could not have been used, the Kimble character had some class and probably would not have selected such a song. I havent noticed any other changes to music but have not watched all the episodes yet and since I have a life I do not have time to compare my copies minute by minute to this new DVD. April 27, 2008
What took so long?
I watched this program as a kid. It is still as good as it was back then. Well-written scripts and interesting story lines. We need more shows like this now. I just don't know why they took so long getting it on DVD. April 24, 2008
