About Evgeny Kissin Plays Schubert, Brahms, Bach, Liszt, Gluck
His musicality, the depth and poetic quality of his interpretation, and his extraordinary virtuosity have placed Evgeny Kissin at the forefront of the world's new generation of young musicians. Kissin shot to fame in 1984 when he, at the age of 12, delivered a dazzling performance of Chopin's two piano concertos at the Moscow Conservatory. Presented in 5.1 DTS Surround Sound, this is his first DVD release.

Average user review:| An extraordinary moment |
The playing was so refrshingly innocent, tender, cristal clear, technically perfect, and always with beautiful singing lines. I believe no one else can play these repertoires better than Kissin at that age. The video was superb, perfectly catching Kissin's unique playing style and his youthful expression; and the audio recording was excellent. Anyone who loves piano music, or I would say music in general, should watch this DVD at least once. I myself have watched it numerous times so far. April 20, 2008
