All That Remains Reloaded (W/Dvd) April 17, 2008
| Not that good |
Jeff Hardy - very plain and not good quality
Kofi - pretty good, not a fan of reggae, but I like this
Beth - I was expecting more from this instrumental, but all of the instruments lack substance which does injustice to the composition
Mark Henry - 3 minutes of the same repetition? really bad
Edgeheads - generic theme and bad quality
Jillian Hall - no surprise it is bad, but it is meant to be funny and it is, so I have no big problems with this as WWE CDs need a comic relief
Mr. McMahon - a remix, not much more to say, but atleast it is not too bad of a quality
ECW - nice full song with nice aftertouches that make it complete, unlike many songs on this CD
Jesse & Festus - Quality is so low that it seems to be mono
Candice Michele - actual techno theme, but I preffer her earlier theme as this is another 3 minutes of general repitition
John Morrison - just not my style and low quality, seems sloppy to me, but I think it is just a matter of taste
Shelton - his new song, average song, which unfortunately makes it better than a lot of this CD
Kennedy - plain classic rock, and again bad quality
Jericho - hardcore remix of his song, but the quality is no good on it
This album is pretty mediocre, a let down from what they have done before. Not really worth buying as the quality means it has little replay value. March 26, 2008
| Why the Covers? |
As for the songs, I was surprised by how enjoyable Kofi's song is. The ECW theme is clearly the best song on the CD, but I have often questioned why they chose this theme for ECW.
I would have rather had Jeff Hardy's original Hardy Boyz theme and Chris Jericho's current theme, similar to what is found on WWE The Music 4 and Anthology. I also like Kennedy's previous version more than the version on this CD.
This CD features so-so covers of McMahon's theme, Shelton's theme, Jericho's theme, and Kennedy's theme, which now lacks Kennedy's "MR KENNEDY!!! voicover.
Overall, it is an ok CD. I think they should have waited a little longer and given us better, more original themes with less cover songs. March 26, 2008
