Sarah Slean's latest album is a bit more traditionally "pop" than her previous ones (Blue Parade, Day One, Night Bugs--I've got them all). But the rich sound and melodic inventiveness are still here. Slean's music is generally categorized as pop/alternative; she is one of the most original and one of the best songwriter/performers, on par with, but in my opinion less introverted than, the other Canadian Sarah--Sarah McLachlan.

Sarah Slean seems to have the recipe for great music: wonderful compositions (each and every one of the songs is indeed a composition, which is why her albums are never boring), great instrumental arrangements, a good well-rounded voice (not a single jarring note to be found), and, last but not least, interesting lyrics. Since she is so young, one can only hope many more albums such as this one are in store for us. November 15, 2008

I love Sarah Slean !

I found Sarah Slean back in 1999, and every album since then, i have LOVED to death. This album i think is better in many forms than Day One but it is more "pop". I find that this album never leaves my mind, It plays over and over.If you love piano,and like Sarah Slean,this is a must !
