I wonder what idiot thought up this idea? Why don't they have the bands do covers of songs that are actually good and any Crunk song is not. Punk music is slipping slowly into a coma, and true bands and true fans need to bring it back, or well live in a world where every punk band will all sound like fall out boy....GOD HELP US !! I think this cd is great. There are a few songs on the CD that aren't nearly "punk" enough. However the high points of the CD are Still Fly, The Seed 2.0, and Notorius Thugs. The Devil Wears Prada version of Still Fly is really great. May 12, 2008

Just by the samples on this cd alone, it's not worth the $$. The only decent track on here is actually All Time Low's version of Umbrella. Everything else fails to capture hip-hop in a punk setting.

White boyz do it better! :)

This album is NOT a spoof on popular hip-hop songs.

These bandz show that they can actually play hip-hop,
if they wanted to, each band could probably produce a hip-hip record.

These bands do an incredible job of covering these songs.

5 Stars, would give more if available.
This is a must get for those who listen to hip-hop and rock. April 11, 2008

Im not going to get into too elaborate of a review because, well its Punk goes Crunk. I was pretty reluctant to listen to this album but I figured, hey... i like punk and i like certain kinds of rap so why not give it a shot. Most of the songs on the CD are actually pretty decent, and not like what you would expect them to be.

Worst songs on the CD- put yo hood up, nuthin but a G thang, and Hey Ya... the hey ya version is okay in this CD but the one those dudes did on youtube is a helluva lot better.

Top 3 songs on this CD for me- I got your money, notorious thugs, and NFG's version of Tennessee.

I gave it four stars instead of 3 bc out of 15 songs I dont like 3, so I figure if I like 12 songs on a CD, it gets an extr star. I dont take this album seriously (i.e. wouldnt blast it whilst driving my car) but take it with a grain of salt and take it as it is.... a novelty CD by the "punk goes" series thats trying different things.
