Picks include: "Can You Hear Me", "God In The Building", "I Gotcha", "Pressure", "2 Sides", "Big Money, Big Cars", the intro, and more. Yeah, that's a lot, but not because I'm easily impressed, this album is just that strong. This is brilliant, inspirational music. If you like rap, or think you might, buy this record. | Killa Killed This ONE!!! |
| Getting Rich INDependently |
It pains me to see Killer Mike struggle in the record business because he is clearly one of the best rappers out today. Killer Mike's cd grossed a whopping 4000 copies in the first week! I couldn't believe that at all Blame it on very poor promotion, no video, no youtube, and no single but still he could have rode around in a hoopty and sold more copies than that straight out the trunk. But as always Killer Mike doesn't disappoint on this album. I Pledge Allegiance To The GRIND II (getting rich independently) is quite possibly his greatest achievement to date. Perfectly meshing social commentary with hard hitting southern culture and dirty south beats Killer Mike comes out on top. With legends like Ice Cube and Eightball & MJG making appearances, this album is completely fire. The songs that stand out the most to me are Can You Hear me, 2 Sides, God In The Building, Pressure, I Woke Up This Morning, If I Can't Eat Right, and Grandma's House but the rest of the album is fire as well. I highly recommend this Killer Mike album as the soundtrack to your success. Killer Kill from da Ville! Pick it up ASAP and support one of the more talented artists grinding in today's music industry.
