Great album(s)
Finally!
After years of fans waiting for the goods they are finally received.
Favorite songs are
Dying Seraph - Smooth voice, jazz like structure to the song. "You won't need love, alone now where you are" Killer lyrics.
Angles of the Seventh Dawn- Great song left off of lucifuge, John Christ has some great leads on this song.
Warlock- Another mid-tempo song with great melody. This song could have been a hit, if put on blackaciddevil.
Years of paying for high priced bootlegs this cd is well worth the money. Now if we can only get a Hank Williams III and Danzig album! Nola and Angel of Death were incredible for anyone who has heard them played live during 6-6-6.

An alternate history of the rise and decline of Danzig
Back when Glenn seemed to buy into his own hype and threaten bodily harm to Rikki Rachtman on Headbanger's Ball any time he mentioned the Misfits (and how funny it seems now, given how Glenn got dropped by that one guy backstage on YouTube in ONE punch).
The first disc is great, yes, it's everything I loved about the band to begin with and all I can do is repeat what's been said earlier. However, when Glenn ditched the band, decided he wanted to be a demonic Trent Reznor on Danzig 5, that's when the "Elvis-singalike Conan the Barbarian starring in The Omen" schtick began to wear thin.
I really wish he hadn't recorded "White Devil Rise" because confronting hate with hate only leads to more hate and as someone else pointed out, it could be an anthem for the KKK, Aryan Nation or WAR or some other shaved head, hillbilly, intolerance spreading band of idiots, particularly since his stage surname is "Danzig," as these were the very people who used to give me grief for listening to his work because it was "demonic" and I was going to burn for eternity . . . what rubbish.
Otherwise, it's nice to finally have "When Death Had No Name" on CD as opposed to the horrid copy I had on tape from a friend who had the CD5 of "Dirty Black Summer."
