KISS has become such a bad joke over the years - re-releasing the same old songs over and over and over!
It reasons like this - KISS DOES NOT belong in the ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME - EVER!
Gene and Paul never had one bad word to say about the RRHOF - only until their joke of a band became eligible - and found out they were not going to be let in - suddenly they started trash talking the RRHOF - sounds like sour grapes to me!
This band is not capable of putting out new material - because they no longer have it in them to write good songs anymore, explains the reason why it has been over 10+ years since a studio album!
It's a shame the keep ripping off the fans with the same old music - maybe this explains why they will NEVER get into the RRHOF, and why they have NEVER in their 35+ year career - made the cover of Rolling Stone magazine!
Four old overweight men pushing 60 years old - still wearing make-up, wigs, spandex and high heels! It doesn't get any sadder than this! I guess some people refuse to grow old gracefully... November 27, 2008

There. I said it. We've been angry...for so long...over the lack of new material...and their exclusion from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Their (or their record company's) insistence on re-packing old material is the reason Kiss is now dead. They do NOT belong in the Hall of Fame if this is the best they can give us over the past 8 years...re-packaging of old (albeit classic) Kiss song is not the way to continued success. KISS is dead. The "current" Kiss is a tribute band--and when Gene and Paul are dead, KISS is going to try to keep going on as some sort of weird Barnum and Bailey's Circus...where they keep the circle going with "new" members...we're, hopefully, not this stupid. Don't give them ANY more of your money. STOP! November 25, 2008

Well, do we really need this ? For sure, that's a beautiful package, and as far as there's nothing new for years, like each and everytime there's this kind of compilation, I buy it just to heve the feeling to buy a new KISS record. Il you're not a die hard fan, you won't be interested, but if you're one you'll buy it just to have the satisfaction to have each and every record by your favorite nand : I'll name KISS. Dont be fooled by the pretty picture and the hype about silver foiled logos etc etc. While the track listing is perhaps the best of any Kiss compilation so far, this release is cheap beyond belief. Nothing more than a flimsy cardboard slipcase over a basic foldout digipak. While others are releasing quality boxsets (Sabbath's 'Rules of Hell', Scorpions 'Box Of Scorpions' to name but two), this set is woefully inadequate. Shame. November 15, 2008

I looked at the track listing on this at Borders the other day and thought, "Oh yes! A great compilation!" And it is great, but there is one glaring omission: The song "Sure Know Something" from Dynasty. This of course is a "Paul" song and without doubt should be included. The song itself is, to me, one of his very best, if not the band's in general. So...I just can't justify buying this without it. Call me silly, but I feel it's a no-brainer. November 14, 2008
